ACCESSTEST COLLECTIVE is an artist collaborative catalyzed by disabled activist Cecelia Black (founder, project lead, storyteller ) and Peter Christenson (founder, project support). ACCESSTEST COLLECTIVE seeks to build socially engaged multimedia projects, films, and site-specific public art installations and exhibitions in King County (+ elsewhere) showcasing the experiences of walking down the street from the perspective of non-drivers and people with disabilities (ACCESSTEST COLLECTIVE Storytellers). Our collaborative builds an archive of cultural capital, innovative artmaking, and public interventions that highlight activism and policy change serving as a forum for conversations around who we design our cities for, and how we can better design for all communities. |
